The City Finance Office is responsible for the financial operation of the city, in accordance with GAAP, GASB regulations, state laws, and administrative policies established by the City Council. Activities include preparing and maintaining the required accounting records, performing budgetary controls, preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, processing payroll and utility bills, processing vendor payments, and administering and investing city funds.
